We are looking for a Head of Project Management to lead the Manufacturing Engineering project portfolio, connecting business strategy with execution. The role will focus on industrialization and transformation projects, REMAN+ and Circular Economy programs, as well as CAPEX and R&D investment governance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, develop, and engage the team, strengthening competencies, performance, and succession planning;
• Lead the Project & Business Office and govern the Manufacturing Engineering project portfolio;
• Define priorities, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring the successful execution of strategic and industrialization projects;
• Manage CAPEX and R&D investments, including business cases, financial follow-up, prioritization, and benefits realization;
• Drive the Manufacturing Engineering Master Plan and transformation, REMAN+, Circular Economy, and sustainability initiatives;
• Represent Manufacturing Engineering in local and global forums and steering committees, ensuring stakeholder alignment;
• Lead organizational change and improvements in governance, processes, resource utilization, and project management practices.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field;
• At least 10 years of Project Management experience, preferably within manufacturing or an industrial environment;
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience;
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing;
• Experience in portfolio management and complex, cross-functional projects;
• Experience in CAPEX and R&D investment governance, including business cases, financial management, risk management, and benefits realization;
• Strong leadership, team development, and local/global stakeholder management skills;
• Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate long-term objectives into priorities, roadmaps, and investment decisions;
• Ability to lead change, continuous improvement, and transformation initiatives;
• Full professional proficiency in English.
Desirable
• Advanced degree and/or PMP certification;
• Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty vehicle industry;
• Professional proficiency in Spanish.
