Performance & application senior engineer; ·Develop the complete calibration of engine/driveline/after-treatment systems to specified targets within limits for emissions, power, fuel consumption, diagnostic, and other Powertrain features; ·Plan, prepare and execute engine test cell and vehicle activities; ·Analyse data, perform calculations and simulations; ·Deliver and document optimized calibration parameters; ·Recommend SW strategies and HW specification; ·Participate in engine development projects; ·Contribute to knowledge capitalization by writing engineering reports, calibration guidelines and participation in global communities; ·Provide technical advices. Propose and drive process, methods and tool improvements; ·Estimate costs of development, planning of activities and detailing of requirements; ·Solve quality issues in product maintenance. Requisitos: ·Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer Degree; ·Higher graduation level is a merit; ·Fluent in English and Portuguese, written and spoken. ·Deep experience in SW calibration of diesel engines, after-treatment systems, vehicle and OBD; ·Work in engine test bench and vehicle; ·Knowledge in Euro III, IV, V, VI legislations and engine certification process; ·Essential skills and experience in powertrain features; ·ATI-Vision, ETAS-Inca, AVL-Creta, CANalyzer, Matlab, Uniplot, VBA, GT-power; ·Optimization algorithms/tools, DOE methodology and tools; ·Proven hands on experience in project(s) of medium and high complexity; ·Proactive contributor in global communities; ·Good technical knowledge of the market and applications; ·Work with project requirements (creation, breaking-down, verification and validation), estimation of resources and time plans; ·Ability to identify technical risks; ·“D” or “E” driving license desired.
