Specialist Simulation & Analysis Engineer (32916)

Main Responsibilities • Perform durability simulations and finite element analysis (FEA), delivering reliable and validated results aligned with project goals; • Plan and execute complex simulations, drawing conclusions and recommending technical solutions; • Support project engineers throughout all development stages; • Contribute to the improvement of methods, tools, and model correlation; • Estimate project scope, meet deadlines, and ensure quality deliveries; • Train and guide junior engineers. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; • Active CREA registration; • Solid experience with durability analysis, FEA, fatigue, vibrations, and stresses in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry; • Proficiency in ANSA, Nastran, OptiStruct, nCode, META, and Abaqus; • Knowledge of plastic parts durability; • Fluent English; • Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or similar are a plus; • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Your future team You will be part of the Simulation team, within the Chassis department. This team is responsible for virtual simulations of the whole chassis parts for Latin America truck applications. It is a globally connected team, working closely with sites in Sweden, India, France, and the USA.
