BotCity
Descrição da vaga
Company Overview
BotCity is building the future of automation with the Governance Platform for Python automations and AI Agents. We empower enterprises to innovate at scale, bringing governance, control, and observability to every automation project. Our philosophy is simple: automation is software, and software deserves the same high-code standards that drive innovation in AI and machine learning.
We recently raised a $12M Series A, led by Four Rivers with participation from Y Combinator, SoftBank, and top industry leaders such as Lew Cirne (New Relic), Rod Johnson (Spring Source), and Walter Kortschak (Summit Partners | Firestreak Ventures). With 1,000+ customers in 70+ countries, including Bayer and LG, and recognition by G2 (2024) as one of the world’s top 25 emerging platforms, BotCity is scaling fast.
We’re a global remote company with teams across the US and LATAM, united by a shared vision to redefine how enterprises build and manage automation. If you’re looking for an environment that values impact, autonomy, and excellence, we’d love for you to join us on this journey.
Role Overview
The UX Designer will own the end-to-end design of features across our three product surfaces — platform, agent, and web portal — turning complex business and technical challenges into intuitive, responsive user experiences. This is a hands-on, generalist role for someone who thrives in the fast-paced, high-uncertainty environment of an early-stage B2B SaaS product. You will design from sketches and wireframes through high-fidelity prototypes and developer-ready specs, help us build our first Design System from the ground up, and support discovery alongside the team when opportunities arise. In this position, you will work closely with our UX Lead and partner directly with the PM (who is also our CTO)
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end: from initial sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity, responsive prototypes across the platform, agent, and web portal.
- Produce high-fidelity screens and detailed specifications in Figma (English and pt-BR), ensuring the development team has everything needed for precise implementation.
- Help build and evolve BotCity's first Design System — components, patterns, and tokens — in partnership with the UX Lead and the front-end team.
- Analyze existing functionalities and propose UX improvements to reduce friction and enhance user efficiency.
- Build interactive prototypes to test usability and communicate complex flows to stakeholders.
Support discovery alongside the UX Lead and the PM: run qualitative interviews, map user journeys, and validate hypotheses and prototypes with B2B clients when needed. - Transform findings into clear UX artifacts (User Journey Maps, Personas) and documented insights shared with the team.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure design solutions align with technical constraints and business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience (3+ years) as a UX/Product Designer working end-to-end on digital products.
- Demonstrable portfolio featuring end-to-end UX projects (from problem to delivered interface).
- Strong UI and high-fidelity prototyping in Figma, at a level that supports end-to-end delivery.
- Ability to design responsive interfaces across web (and mobile where applicable).
- Experience building or contributing to Design Systems (components, patterns, tokens, libraries).
- Comfortable supporting discovery: qualitative interviews, usability testing (remote or A/B), and mapping
- Critical User Journeys.
- Ability to translate findings into clear insights, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Experience with Design Thinking and agile methodologies.
- UX/usability tools (Figma, UserTesting, Maze); MS Office/Excel, Google Suite, Notion.
- Ability to travel as needed to support events and meet the team.
- Portuguese — Fluent.
- English — Intermediary/Advanced.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with B2B products.
- Prior experience in an early-stage, high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with technical products (developer tooling, automation, Python, or AI a plus).
- Proven experience leading research, thematic analysis, and A/B testing.
