How about joining our team?Read on to learn more about the characteristics of this position — and good luck!Responsabilidades e atribuições• Curricular Alignment:Organize, review, and monitor educators’ activities in Mathematics to ensure alignment with the BNCC and international curricula.Support teaching practices that promote logical reasoning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and the application of mathematical concepts to real-world situations.• Project Planning and Collaboration:Meet regularly with Mathematics educators to follow up on ongoing projects and provide planning support.Collaborate with teachers using the backward design process to co-create meaningful units focused on mathematical modeling, data interpretation, and interdisciplinary problem-solving.Assist in incorporating cross-cutting themes such as sustainability, technology, equity, and real-world challenges into curriculum projects.• Assessment Development:Support the design of authentic and formative assessments that evaluate mathematical thinking, conceptual understanding, and application of content.Ensure that assessments align with learning goals and address different levels of complexity and student diversity.• Communication and Engagement:Review and support the clarity of project communications sent to families, especially when addressing abstract or complex mathematical themes.Keep school leadership informed about project development and instructional progress.• Classroom Support:Observe Mathematics classes and provide constructive feedback to enhance student engagement, collaborative learning, and mathematical inquiry.Recommend tools, platforms, and instructional strategies that foster active participation and conceptual exploration.• Meetings and Reporting:Hold weekly meetings with principals to present updates, monitor learning outcomes, and discuss challenges and proposed solutions.Share insights based on classroom observations and student performance data.• Professional Development:Identify professional learning needs in Mathematics based on instructional observations and project outcomes.Collaborate with school leaders to design and deliver PD sessions on active learning in math, formative assessment, equity in mathematics education, and interdisciplinary teaching.• Community Engagement:Represent the Mathematics department in school events and academic presentations.Encourage student participation in math fairs, problem-solving challenges, and interdisciplinary exhibitions.• Cultural Diversity and Resources:Support the selection and use of inclusive and diverse math teaching resources that reflect a variety of cultural perspectives and problem-solving approaches.Promote multiple ways of understanding and applying mathematical ideas.• Flexible Role:Be available to step into teaching roles when needed and support interdisciplinary initiatives across subjects.Contribute to school-wide educational projects and innovation efforts.• Other Duties:Perform any other tasks assigned by the Division Principal that contribute to the mission and development of the school community.Requisitos e qualificaçõesBachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Master’s degree or interdisciplinary experience is a plus).Strong knowledge of educational technologies, digital platforms, and instructional strategies in Mathematics.Experience in curriculum planning, instructional design, and teacher coaching.Experience in leading professional development workshops and training sessions.Certifications or technical courses in education or mathematics teaching.Previous classroom teaching experience in Mathematics.Familiarity with active learning methodologies (e.g., problem-based learning, inquiry-based learning) and agile practices in education.Experience with international curricula (e.g., IB, Cambridge) is highly desirable.Informações adicionaisAssistência MédicaAlimentação 100% subsidiada para o colaborador em local de trabalho, café da manhã e almoçoAssistência OdontológicaVale AlimentaçãoPLR: percentual definido em acordo coletivo do trabalho (parcela única anual)SESC: convênio gratuito estendido a dependentes (cônjuge e filhos)TotalPass, com possibilidade de inclusão de até 3 dependenteSeguro de VidaVale transporte: opcional, com desconto de 6% do salário nominal (de acordo com a Lei n.o7.619)Gift Card Natal no valor de R$ 250,00C4Life: Assistência gratuita de suporte emocional, jurídico, financeiro, social e petWellz by Wellhub: Até 12 sessões online de terapia no ano sem custo
