What you will do At Volvo Trucks Technology & Industrial, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society. As Logistics Engineering Coordinator, you will lead and support the transformation of the daily Logistics Operations at the Curitiba site, from Goods Receiving to Point of Use, for Trucks, Buses, and Cabs. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the internal flow of materials to ensure uninterrupted and efficient production operations. You will lead a high-performing team of analysts and engineers responsible for Process and Packaging Design, Equipment and Fleet Management, and Warehouse Operations. This role works closely with Production, Material Supply, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety and operational standards. Key responsibilities • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics processes, productivity, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. • Support new product launches, engineering changes, and production ramp-up activities from a logistics perspective. • Design warehouse and material handling operations, ensuring efficient storage and space utilization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material shortages, quality issues, and process deviations. • Lead, coach, and develop internal logistics and warehouse teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. • Build and sustain a high-performing team by coaching employees, supporting career development, strengthening technical and leadership capabilities, and fostering an inclusive, safety-first, and continuous improvement culture. Who are you? • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. • Specialization in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management, or Agile Methodologies is a plus. • Proven experience in internal logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry. • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and methodologies. • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
