Component development in the Powertrain Engineering area design

Your main task is to run assignments linked to the work within FQ*, PCR*, PCO* and DS*. Everything from root cause analysis to deciding which solutions to implement for the customer.
Setting requirements and requesting resources from the line, coaching the working group to quick and good solutions, and prioritizing and coordinating ongoing work.

Contact with suppliers, production, purchasing, development groups, market and aftermarket.
On-site support in Resende with an understanding of the local interface to the global management system;
Lead and guide the working team according to onePDP process and mindset.
*Field Quality FQ, Product Change request PCR, Product Cost optimization PCO, Delivery Stop DS, Production request PR and design on line DOL within the department.

An engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or equivalent);
Fluency in English (written and verbal); Germany is a plus;
Extensive experience in product development;
Deep knowledge of mechanical design principles, such as powertrain systems: Engine, After Treatment and Driveline System;
Expert knowledge and experience of relevant standards and requirements;
Experience from driving projects in a multi-cultural / cross-functional environment;
Proficiency in quality tools (Risk analysis, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis);
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, FRAS, power BI and requirement tools is a plus;
Knowledge of 3D model software (preferably CATIA);
Experience with project management or Agile methodologies is a plus;
International and multicultural work experience is beneficial;
Experience within the Automotive industry.
