Product Engineer - Test (Shake Testing and Component Strength)

Responsible for developing and executing accelerated durability tests on bench systems, focusing on shake testing and component strength validation. This role includes defining instrumentation, analyzing test data, and supporting failure analysis to ensure the reliability and performance of automotive components in collaboration with global teams.Responsabilidades e atribuiçõesDevelopment of test plans and technical reports;Definition of instrumentation points and signal analysis (strain gauges, acceleration);Planning and definition of accelerated durability tests schedules on bench tests;Failure analysis and improvement proposals;Collaboration with global multidisciplinary teams;DifferentialsExperience with cab and chassis components;Knowledge on CAE simulation software for structural or multi body (ANSYS, Abaqus, ADAMS, Pacote Hyperworks);Knowledge in project management and technical documentation;Driver’s license: Category D or E;English – Advanced/ Fluent (technical).Requisitos e qualificaçõesBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Automotive Engineering, or related fields;Postgraduate degree or Master’s in mechanical/automotive/materials engineering;Experience developing accelerated durability procedures on bench tests and validating automotive components;Strong knowledge of strength of materials, machine elements, metallic material fatigue, and mechanical vibrations;Proven experience with vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition systems (e.g., HBK, Siemens, Dewesoft), data analysis of experimental data from physical tests, focusing on strain gauge and acceleration signals;Proficiency with data analysis software (Advanced Excel, NI DIAdem, NCode Glyphworks, MATLAB);Familiarity with data analysis and task automation in Python.Informações adicionaisAbout us:At TRATON Group, you are an important part of something bigger.
