Role Summary 

We are seeking experienced and versatile IT Project and Delivery Managers to lead business-facing and 
technology initiatives in a global environment. This is a generalist delivery role that may combine Project 
Manager, Delivery Manager, and Scrum Master responsibilities, depending on the initiative. The 
successful candidate must be comfortable working with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery models and 
managing projects from chartering, planning, all the way through production deployment(s). The role 
requires strong ownership of delivery fundamentals including scope, schedule, financials, resources, 
risks, dependencies, stakeholder communication, production change and release management. Fluent 
English is mandatory, including the ability to lead complex discussions in real time. Proven 
experience working with international and multicultural teams is required.

Key Responsibilities 

Project and Delivery Management 

• Lead business-facing and technology projects from initiation through delivery, transition, and 
closure. 
• Define and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, budgets, risks, 
dependencies, and status reports. 
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, infrastructure, security, 
quality assurance, operations, and external partners. 
• Maintain delivery momentum, drive actions to completion, and ensure clear ownership and 
accountability. 
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, financial impacts, and required actions to 
stakeholders and senior leaders.

Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid Delivery 
• Lead initiatives end-to-end, applying the appropriate delivery approach — Waterfall, Agile (Scrum, 
Kanban), or Hybrid — based on initiative complexity, risk, and business needs. 
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies when applicable, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, 
retrospectives, and backlog refinement. 
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Sponsors, and Technical Leads to structure and 
sequence delivery into manageable increments – phases, releases, epics and tasks – aligned to 
team objectives and delivery methodology. 

Financial, Risk, and Resource Management 
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource hours, fixed bid costs, accruals, and financial 
variances within Microsoft Project Server.  
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and cross-team dependencies. 
• Escalate blockers, resource constraints, and critical decisions proactively. 
• Support resource planning, onboarding, allocation, and transition activities.

Change, Release, and Production Management 
• Coordinate production release and change process within ServiceNow and handle day-of release 
coordination with technical teams to ensure smooth deployment. 
• Ensure that testing, approvals, documentation, communication, support plans, and operational 
handovers are completed. 
• Support cutover planning, go-live coordination, hypercare, and transition to operations. 
• Ensure alignment with Software Development Lifecycle, security, compliance, change 
management standards.

Stakeholder Communication and Leadership 
• Lead complex business and technical discussions with global stakeholders. 
• Prepare clear and concise updates for project teams, senior management, and steering 
committees. 
• Facilitate decision-making by presenting facts, options, trade-offs, and recommendations. 
• Build alignment across teams and hold stakeholders accountable for commitments. 
• Promote collaboration, transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications / Skills 
• 5 or more years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or 
Scrum Master. 
• Proven experience delivering business-facing technical projects in international enterprise 
environments. 
• Expertise across Waterfall, Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Hybrid iterative delivery models.   
• Experience in project planning, financial management, resource management, risk management, 
production change, and release management. 
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and technology delivery processes. 
• Strong leadership, facilitation, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to independently lead complex discussions, provide recommendations, and drive decisions 
and actions. 
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project / Project Server, Confluence, ServiceNow or 
equivalent. 
• Fluent English, both written and spoken. 
• Proven experience working with global, multicultural, and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications 
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry. 
• Experience with business transformation, managed services, or service transition initiatives. 
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification. 
• Experience working with multi-squad delivery models, vendors, or globally distributed partners. 
• Familiarity with portfolio governance, compliance, security, audit, and enterprise technology 
controls. 

Education 
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Project 
Management, or a related field is preferred. 
• Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a specific academic background. 

Working Model & Collaboration 
• Brazil based role with a 100% remote working model. 
• Close collaboration with international business and technology stakeholders. 
• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. 
• Schedule flexibility may occasionally be required for global meetings, critical milestones, 
production releases, or project transitions.
