Regional EHS Partner

• Regional Health & Safety Strategy: Develop, deploy, and continuously improve the Americas H&S strategy in alignment with corporate objectives, legal requirements, and industry best practices. • Safety Leadership and Culture: Serve as the regional H&S subject matter expert, guiding leaders and teams to strengthen a proactive safety culture and improve performance. • Risk Management: Oversee risk assessments and management programs, including ergonomic, psychosocial, operational, and environmental risks, ensuring effective controls are implemented and reviewed. • Compliance and Management Systems: Ensure compliance with legal, corporate, contractual, and insurance requirements, while keeping policies, procedures, records, and legal registers current and audit-ready. • Training and Employee Participation: Coordinate mandatory H&S training and develop safety leadership capabilities, while supporting CIPA, COPASST, and equivalent local committees. • Performance and Incident Management: Monitor H&S metrics, trends, and leading indicators; lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned. • Audits and Client Requirements: Support audits, regulatory inspections, and client and insurer assessments by providing compliance evidence and ensuring timely closure of findings. • Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder Engagement: Lead safety and wellbeing initiatives, guide local teams, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, partners, insurers, and clients. • Master’s degree in safety engineering. • Strong knowledge of Brazilian Health & Safety legislation (NRs). • Good written and presentation skills in English. • Proficiency in Spanish. • A proactive, dynamic, and well-organised professional with strong stakeholder management skills. • Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 45001 is desirable.
